Hi, I'm Sarah, a Chemistry graduate from Seoul, now in Toronto.
Let me be honest: I'm not a researcher, and I haven't "mastered" all of science. What I'm really good at is explaining hard things in a simple way, spotting what's likely to show up on tests, and helping students raise their grades.
HOW I THINK ABOUT STUDYING
Good studying isn't 100% understanding, and it isn't 100% memorizing. You need both, and they feed each other. When you truly understand something, it becomes second nature, and that helps you stretch into new ideas. And when something doesn't make sense yet, memorizing it anyway often gives you the missing piece that makes the next idea click. I learned this the hard way through my own studying, so I'll help you skip the trial and error.

ABOUT ME
- B.S. in Chemistry, Duksung Women's University (GPA 4.15/4.5, Korean scale)
- 1.5 years of lab research on government drug-safety projects: I analyzed 200+ drugs in hair, urine, food, and even whale blubber with mass spectrometry
- 2 year of private science tutoring in Korea with exam prep, with grade improvement from level 6 to level 2 (Korea's 9-level scale)
- Lessons in English or Korean
