Karasu is a new premium Omakase Yakitori restaurant, bringing traditional Japanese yakitori techniques together with a distinctive dining experience.
We are looking for passionate and motivated individuals to join our Back of House team as we prepare to open.
At Karasu, we believe great food comes from quality ingredients, attention to detail, precise cooking techniques, and strong teamwork. Our kitchen focuses on preparing and serving each dish at its best while maintaining consistency and high standards.
Whether you have experience in Japanese cuisine or are eager to develop your skills, we welcome individuals who share our passion for cooking and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous professional kitchen experience is an asset.
- Experience in yakitori, charcoal grilling, or omakase restaurants is a strong asset, but not required.
- Knowledge of Japanese cuisine, ingredients, and cooking techniques is an asset.
- Strong knife skills and food preparation fundamentals.
- Attention to detail, consistency, and food presentation.
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to remain composed and organized during service.
- Positive attitude, strong teamwork, and willingness to learn.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada.
