Location: Yaletown, Vancouver, BC
Job Type: Full-time / Part-time
Wage: Starting at $18.25/hour, with higher pay based on experience and skill level
About the Role
Hello Nori Club Kitchen is looking for reliable, motivated, and positive individuals to join our Back of House kitchen team.
Previous sushi or Japanese kitchen experience is an asset, but it is not required. We provide paid training for candidates who are motivated and willing to learn.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop kitchen skills, learn Japanese cuisine and sushi preparation, and grow within our team.
Responsibilities
• Prepare ingredients and menu items according to Hello Nori standards
• Prepare sushi and Japanese-inspired dishes
• Maintain food quality, consistency, and presentation
• Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized workstation
• Assist with daily prep and kitchen operations
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate and work closely with other kitchen team members
What We’re Looking For

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Passion for food and hospitality
• Sushi or Japanese kitchen experience is an asset, but not required
