Training day: TBD
attendance is mandatory - week of Aug. 17, will confirm in August.
Event duration: Aug21- Sep 7th, 2026
Building business hours: 10 AM - 10 PM
Starting time as early as 9 AM;
Closing time is typically around 10:30pm
Wage: $17.60/hour + Tips
Overtime pay: 1.5x for portion over 88hours within two weeks.
Job Types: Short-term, Full-time, Seasonal
Part-time available for veteran CNE staffs.
General Qualification:
Professional communication in English is a must
Proactive self-starter
Collaborative to achieve team goals
Willingness to learn
Able to work in a fast-paced, culturally diverse environment
Able to work with minimum supervision
Service and/or food industry experience is an asset
Candidates with commercial kitchen dishwasher experience will be prioritized
Must be able to work legally in Canada
MUST BE ABLE TO COMMIT/ AVAILABLE FOR FULL 19 DAYS. (18 days of event + 1 day for training)
Position available:
Customer-facing: CASHIER/SERVER (10)
Day-to-day tasks for front-of-house staff:
Food-court style service, all service will be at the counter.
Take orders, handle cash/POS transactions.
Fill orders, provide cutlery upon request.
Refill dumpling & sauce stations as needed.
Maintain the tidiness of the booth.
Assist line cooks if needed. Reduce the risk of cross-contamination.
Dishwashing experience is an asset
BACK OF HOUSE: LINE COOK/COMBI OVEN OPERATOR (3)
Wage is negotiable based on experience.
