Hokusan Tea Canada is an award-winning tea wholesaler specializing in authentic Japanese green tea and matcha, supplying cafés and restaurants across Canada. We are currently hiring a part-time Café Sales & Matcha Sampling Representative.In this role, you will visit cafés, introduce our matcha products through sampling, and help the sales team connect with potential new clients. As this is a business development position, we are looking for someone who enjoys meeting new people, taking initiative, and embracing new challenges.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Canada’s café industry and business culture. It is an ideal position for someone who enjoys connecting with people and thrives in a fast-paced startup environment.
Position
- Café Sales & Matcha Sampling Representative
Main Responsibilities
- Visit cafés and restaurants for outreach and business development
- Distribute product samples
- Introduce products to café owners and managers
- Share visit reports with the sales team
Qualifications
- Motivated and comfortable communicating with people
- Passionate about matcha and café culture
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on challenges
- Goal-oriented and proactive
- Strong initiative and ability to work independently
- Enjoy building relationships with others
- Intermediate English proficiency (comfortable with daily conversation and basic product explanations)
- Interested in learning practical Canadian business and sales skills
- Legally eligible to work in Canada (Working Holiday visa holders are welcome)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in customer service or hospitality
- Café or restaurant work experience
- Sales, retail, or promotional experience

Toronto / GTA Area
Working Hours
Approximately 3 days per week
9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
