Job description:SCENIC coffee in Leslieville is looking for a cook/baker to join our back of house team.
We are a Japanese inspired cafe offering locally roasted artisan coffee, fresh pastries all baked in-house, and unique brunch items made with Japanese ingredients.
Responsibilities include food preparation, baking, and working on the line. Maintaining a fully-stocked kitchen inventory and complying with safety and cleanliness standards. To be successful in this role, you should be able to deliver quality food on time.
Ultimately, you will ensure all plates are properly cooked and served and our customers have a pleasant dining experience.
· Kitchen experience either in baking or as a cook
· Knowledge or interest in Japanese cuisine is an asset
· Conversational level English
