We are a fast-growing e-commerce company, as part of our international expansion, we are entering the Japan market and seeking a results-driven Influencer Marketing Specialist to support execution and drive sales through KOL partnerships. This role reports directly to the Marketing Manager and focuses on hands-on execution and conversion performance.Key Responsibilities
Identify, research, and source Japanese influencers on platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok
Execute influencer outreach (DMs, emails, and platform communication in Japanese)
Coordinate and support influencer partnerships including negotiation, briefing, and content delivery
Track campaign performance (clicks, conversions, sales) and report results
Assist in building conversion-focused campaigns (discount codes, affiliate links, landing pages)
Maintain and update influencer database and campaign records
Continuously optimize influencer ROI and campaign performance
This is an execution-focused, performance-driven role
Success is measured by sales and conversion, not just reach or engagement.
This role will lead the launch of our Japan operations, including setting up a local entity/office in Tokyo.
Requirements
3+ year of experience in influencer/KOL marketing (or relevant internship)
Familiar with Japanese social media platforms (Instagram / YouTube / TikTok)
Fluent in English (working proficiency)
Preferred:
Experience in the Japan market (study, work, or projects)
Experience in DTC / e-commerce / affiliate marketing
Familiarity with Japanese influencer ecosystem (agencies, talent networks)
Experience with high-ticket or premium lifestyle products
Understanding of conversion funnels (discount codes, affiliate, etc.)
Compensation
Base salary $20.00-$25.00/Hour
Performance bonus (linked to sales results)
