About the Role
We are seeking 1–2 creative and detail-oriented Florists to join our team in downtown Toronto. The ideal candidates have a strong sense of aesthetics, a passion for floral design, and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
We are a high foot-traffic, walk-in business where all floral design is performed on the sales floor. This role requires someone who is comfortable interacting with customers, confident in communication, and proactive in driving sales.
Qualifications
Fluent in English
Previous florist or floral design experience required
Flexible availability
Basic knowledge of flower care and handling
Strong attention to detail and visual presentation
Adaptable and proactive in a dynamic environment
Positive and professional attitude
Key Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the floral workspace, including vases, shelving and trimmings
Design and create fresh floral arrangements for daily sales, custom orders, and special occasions
Assist customers with flower selection and care advice
Prepare bouquets, vase arrangements, and seasonal displays
Maintain floral inventory and workspace organization
Support general store operations as needed
Ensure high standards of quality, freshness, and presentation
Ability to handle and move floral products up to 50 lbs
Preferred Skills (Not Required)
Experience in a retail or flower shop environment
Experience using P.O.S systems
Customer service experience
Availability on weekends and holidays
