Hello,Our family is looking to hire a tutor to teach our children Japanese. We are originally from Taiwan and have been living in Canada for over 20 years.
Our children (ages 12 and 9) previously studied Japanese with a tutor for about 6 months, but unfortunately the teacher has returned to Japan.
Both children are very interested in Japanese culture and love anime, so they are excited to continue learning!
We are looking for a tutor who has experience teaching children and can make lessons fun and engaging. You do not need to be fully fluent in English, but conversational English is helpful for explaining vocabulary and helping the children understand.
Our goals are:
- Learning basic Japanese reading (Hiragana and Katakana)
-Improving listening and speaking skills
- Helping them become conversational in Japanese
Lesson Details:
- 1 hour per child each week (2 hours total per week)
- Lessons at our home in North York (Don Mills Rd & Steeles Ave area, near Seneca College)
- We are looking for someone who can commit for at least 4–6 months
Compensation:
- $30 CAD per hour
- Additional $10 CAD per visit to help cover travel costs
- Payment will be paid promptly every 2 weeks via e-transfer

私たちの家族は、子どもたちに日本語を教えてくれる家庭教師を探しています。私たちは台湾出身で、カナダには20年以上住んでいます。
子どもたち（12歳と9歳）は、以前6か月ほど日本語の家庭教師から学んでいましたが、残念ながら先生が日本へ帰国されてしまいました。
子どもたちは日本文化にとても興味があり、アニメが大好きです。そのため、日本語学習を続けることをとても楽しみにしています。
子どもに教えた経験があり、楽しく魅力的なレッスンをしてくださる家庭教師を探しています。英語は必ずしも流暢である必要はありませんが、子どもたちに語彙を説明したり理解を助けたりするために、日常会話レベルの英語ができる方が望ましいです。
学習目標：
-日本語の基本的な読み（ひらがな・カタカナ）の習得
- リスニングとスピーキング能力の向上
- 日本語で簡単な会話ができるようになること
レッスン詳細：
- 週1回、子ども1人につき1時間（合計2時間／週）
-レッスンは North York の自宅で行います（Don Mills Rd と Steeles Ave 付近、Seneca College の近く）
- 少なくとも4～6か月の継続をお願いしています
報酬：
- 時給 $30 CAD
- 交通費として、訪問ごとに追加で $10 CAD 支給
- お支払いは2週間ごとに、E-transferで迅速にお支払いします
