We are looking for experienced part-time cashiers to help Hattendo bring joy and happiness through our Japanese chilled cream buns at our Baldwin location (13 Baldwin Street) and Holt Renfrew Centre location (50 Bloor Street West) location. Please send your availability when applying!

This part-time Cashier position (up to 30 hours max) requires the use of both customer service and interpersonal skills in order to embody our passion for confectionery and introduce our vibrant history and menu to all customers. Being able to multitask and work without supervision will contribute to the success of daily operations as a cashier, as well as being able to complete the following tasks:

- Handling cash and card payments using a POS (point-of-sale) system,

- Maintaining and recording stock levels of products every day,

- Cleaning and sanitizing tables, chairs and other dining area surfaces,

- Washing dishes and utensils,

- Packaging take-out food for delivery app services including Uber Eats, Door Dash, Fantuan and Ritual

- Restocking condiments, napkins and other supplies,

- Maintaining cleanliness in food preparation and serving areas,

- Preparing, heating and finishing simple food items,

- Greeting customers, taking customers' orders and answering customers’ questions,

- Utilizing strategies like upselling and package selling to increase sales
