I'm a Canadian who has been hosting different people (mostly from Japan) in our home since March 2015. My first visit to Japan was on a working holiday visa from 2016-2017, and I've visited Japan 3 times in total.
Currently, there are 2 ladies from Japan living in my house, Yuka-San (21) and Riyako-San (31). Riyako-San will be returning to Japan on December 28th 2025. Yuka-San has a friend moving here in February 2026, so for January 2026 we will have availability for a short stay!
The room itself is large, clean, private, and fully furnished. The only shared areas would be the living room, kitchen, and main bathroom.
We have unlimited high speed internet (Wi-Fi), washer/dryer and cable included. We have central heating and aircon.
Our Building also has a free gym / recreation centre, indoor and outdoor swimming pools with sauna, plus a convenience store and salon. Yuka-San and I also love video games, so if you do as well, that is a plus!
Other nearby amenities include:
24 hour frequent TTC bus stop (# 111) outside at south end of the building w / 12 minutes ride to Kipling Station. (TTC #50 will take you to Islington Station in 10-12 minutes.)

TD Bank across from Loblaws
Instant Access to Highway 427
5 Minute walk To Eatonville Library
5 Minute Bus Ride To Cloverdale Mall. Sherway Gardens Plaza Also Nearby.

Nearby Miway Stop To easily access Square One and University of Toronto-Mississauga UTM
The only strict rules are no smoking/vaping inside the house/bedroom, no unconfirmed guests, no heavy drinking or illicit drugs.
