This room is suitable for a full-time University, ESL student, intern or working graduate seeking a comfortable, clean, secure home. My home is in a 3 storey walk-up apartment building decorated, clean, well aired and comfortable. You share washroom and kitchen with me. My son works and lives nearby. What is most important to me is that you are responsible and have respect for others. You have no problem taking care of your room and helping with some weekly or bi-weekly cleaning which includes vacuuming and cleaning bathroom. You can handle practical maintenance rules regarding use of washroom, kitchen, showers, food etc. You are a full-time student, focused on your studies, attending classes at the University or working and have outside Interests. I do not want someone whose schooling is full-time online and here all the time. You know how to look after yourself and automatically pick-up after yourself. I provide sheets, towels (you provide your own pillow, comforter). All utilities and WIFI are included. You share washroom and kitchen facilities with me. Our pay laundry facility is on the same floor beside this unit. The building is secure, clean and welcoming as is the garden.
Located in the beautifully treed neighbourhoods of Mt. Pleasant and Davisville you are a 2 minute bus ride from Belle Ayre Blvd. to the Davisville/Yonge Subway, or a short pleasant walk to Davisville Subway. You are also a short bus ride from Davisville to Bayview Ave to Sunnybrook Hospital for those doing research, practicing medicine etc.
If you are new to Toronto, I’m happy to introduce you via car, walking and maps to the Toronto area, the University, TTC as well as shopping venues to help you get settled and feel secure and where to buy reasonable priced food.
I prefer a long term room rental. Long-term is 9 months or more at $950.00/month, (short term is more). First and last month’s rent required in advance to secure this room.
Please inquire through this ad leaving a description of yourself male/female, age, campus/program, your habits/lifestyle for shower/am or pm, kitchen needs - how often do you cook etc. How long you would like to rent - from - to. Are your classes online or on campus? Be ready to supply references, school registration and letter of employment if working. I am an older woman and must feel that whoever rents this room is mature and responsible. There is no additional storage space if you have accumulated a lot of possessions.
