Kinton Ramen, a leading and rapidly expanding Japanese ramen restaurant chain, is seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead our team at the Markville Mall location in Markham. With a commitment to delivering authentic flavors and exceptional customer service, Kinton Ramen is dedicated to providing a unique dining experience to our valued customers.
**Position: General Manager**
**Location: Markville Mall, Markham**
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Leadership and Team Management:**
- Lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team of kitchen and front-of-house staff.
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular training sessions to ensure staff members are knowledgeable about menu items, service standards, and safety protocols.
2. **Operational Excellence:**
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to established standards.
- Monitor inventory levels, control costs, and implement strategies to optimize profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment.
3. **Customer Experience:**
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service, creating a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for all patrons.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Implement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
4. **Financial Management:**
- Develop and manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profit targets.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.
**Qualifications:**
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the restaurant industry.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including kitchen management and front-of-house procedures.
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
- Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and profit optimization.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
- Familiarity with Japanese cuisine and/or previous experience in a ramen restaurant is an asset.
