今月もお祈りのお知らせが届きました。
震災を風化させたくない方、一緒に黙祷を捧げませんか。





皆様：



「こころ」は月に一度、世界中の人が人種、宗教、国境を越え、東日本大震災の被災者の方々と共に祈る会です。今月はＮＹ時間12月10日（土）午後10時＜日本時間11日（日）正午＞に一斉に祈りを捧げます。どうか、お時間が合えば参加してください。 お時間が合わない方も、どうかこの日に共に祈りを捧げましょう。



10 月の日本では稲の収穫を祝う季節ということでお祭りがとても多いのですが、日本に居る「こころ」のメンバーはそこで東北の方々のがんばっている姿を見て、日本はそして世界は大丈夫！と 思ったと言います。今年は以前と比べて東北からの出展が多く、震災の際に応援してもらった感謝の気持ちとして、東北の方々が無料で色々な地産品を提供されていたそうです。参加者が代金を支払う代わりに寄付金箱に募金を入れていたのも、気持ちと気持ちの交換という感じで気持ちが良く、本当に日本は良い方向 に変わってきていると思えたそうです。



みんなががんばって前を向いて歩んでいる姿が少しずつ日本中に、そしてひょっとしたら世界中に勇気と元気を与える ことになるかもしれないと思わされるお祭りの様子。世界中でいろいろなことが起こっているけれども、それでもやっぱり私達は前を向いて歩いて行かないといけないのだと改めて思わされました。私たちはみんな深いレベルではつながっていて、苦しんでる人を置き去りにしたり、見ない振りをして、自分ひとりだけ幸せになろうとしても多分なれないのでしょう。半面、一緒に幸せになろうとしたり、他の人の幸せを願った時、自分も気が付いたら本当の幸せを手に入れているのかもしれません。東北地方へ向かって祈っているようで、実はそれによって一番こころを救われているのは他でもない自分なのではないでしょうか。なぜなら私たちは、もとひとつだから。



今月の「こころ」は、ＮＹ時間12月10日（土）午後10時＜日本時間11日（日）正午＞です。

亡くなられた方々のご冥福をお祈りすると共に、被災者の方々の心にそっと寄り添う時間を共に持ちませんか。

Dear All:



“Kokoro” holds a circle of prayer once every month with people from all over the world and people from the afflicted areas in Japan. On Saturday December 10th at 10pm New York time (Sunday the 11th at 12:00 noon in Japan), we ask you to join us.



In Japan, in the month of October, numerous festivals are being held to celebrate the harvest of rice. A member of "Kokoro",living in Japan, visited one of these festivals and saw the people of Tohoku district working hard in the event. She told us that when she saw the people, she felt that Japan, as well as the rest of the world, was going to be all right. This year, there were more vendors from the Tohoku district and these vendors were handing out famous local goods for free to show their gratitude to everyone who has helped Tohoku after the earthquake. People who came to this event made donations in exchange for the goods, and it looked as if they were exchanging heart for heart. She held the impression that Japan is truly moving in the right direction. The festival seemed to reflect the fact that the people of Japan are moving forward and, perhaps, it may have given courage and power to the rest of Japan, even to the world. Countless things are happening all over the world, but we are reminded once again, that despite the hardships, we have to keep moving. We are all connected at a deep level and if we abandon or ignore people who are suffering, we, ourselves, cannot become happy at heart. On the other hand, if we are happy for others, or help them achieve happiness, we might, perhaps, find true happiness within ourselves. We may be praying for the Tohoku district, but maybe, we are the ones that are being healed. That is because we are one.



This month, “Kokoro” will hold a prayer on Saturday December 10th at 10pm New York time (Sunday 11th at noon, Japanese time).
